Three sick days, some blood tests and one nutritionist later, I re-learned what I’d forgotten from fourth grade health class.  We have a body!  We only get one and I was burning it at both ends.  I had a vague idea I needed to change something, but I had no idea where to go next.  Of course, because I was management, I had to figure it out myself.  I made many costly mistakes involving both money, time and relationships.  And worst yet, I had no idea who to talk with about what I’d just discovered.  (Did I mention this system is also like having a buddy to talk with in those moments when there’s no one around or you’re just not ready to share?...but I digress….)    

OVERNIGHT, phone calls, schedules, leading meetings and winning deals all became less important.
